Anyone can COME ALONG

“Nobody (no refugee) leaves his homeland
voluntarily.”

In this dance theatre, young refugees develop independently a production that discusses escape and migration of children and teenagers between the post-war period and the present.

In political conflicts, especially children are suffering, and escape and expulsion are painful experiences because they often do not only lose their homeland but also their families and friends. In a foreign country, they are left alone with their pains and fears.

What are the common grounds and the differences between young refugees in the past and today? Which hopes and perspectives are associated with the escape from home? What are the responsibilities to society and every individual?
