The digital workshops are part of the cross-over project NEW LINES - FLUGLINES (...).Join in! All workshops can be attended independently and are free of charge for all participants thanks to the support of Soziokultur NRW. You can register by sending an email to: info@alarmtheater.de. Please mention workshop and date in your registration and we will send you the respective link.
Messages.
What topics are on our minds right now? What do we want to share with others? Where are the places where we can place our messages? We go in search of traces... to our own thoughts and topics. We explore in an artistic way possibilities of appropriating space and the city and create ideas for our own messages in the urban space.

Plant-Collage.
How to reconnect with nature? From the study of Plants, the meeting creates a link between your structure (rhizomatic character, cooperative architecture, energy autonomy) with the Collage structure (recycling, multiplicity, diversity). We will develop themes such as intuition, adaptation and nourishment, working manually with images, collected leaves, drawing and collage. Investigate the potential of plants to reenchant our senses, observe the metamorphosis that is happening in everything.

Manuela Eichner (...) I Multifaceted visual artist, her practice ranges from videos to performances, collaborative workshops, illustrations, installations, and more. On these different fronts, Manuela often departs from the mass media images and systematically resorts to the principles of collage and rupture. In her work “Monstera Deliciosa,” combines found visual material from magazines with living plants. Different from each angle it is observed, the living sculpture unfolds in multiple layers as the visitors move around it. The presence of this hybrid, strange and monstrous mass in its convergence of printed materials, plants and objects, challenges the viewer and his assumptions about body, space and nature. Manuela has participated in a variety of programs worldwide such as Rumos Itaú Cultural (BR), ZK/U (DE), AnnexB (USA) and Fikra Graphic Design Biennial (UAE).

Analog lines in digital times.sketchnotes, scribble, lettering...there are many names and almost everyone has done it at least once. It's fun, helps against boredom and sometimes creates small works of art. In this digital workshop, you'll learn how it works and what tips and tricks you can use to create really beautiful notes and messages.
Things you should have at home:
White paper, pencil, sharpener, eraser, fineliner (preferably three thicknesses: about 0.3/0.5/1.2 mm).

In this workshop, participants will be invited to investigate the anatomy of the body and invent ways to draw it, recreating them from memories, feelings and desires.
Utensils: paper and any drawing materials the participants like to use.
